Knosh and Knowledge
Antisemitism and Democracy with Amy Spitalnick
Since October 7th, the surge in antisemitism has raised important questions about how to effectively protect Jewish safety in a say that resonates with non-Jewish community and strengthens democracy. Join Amy Spitalnick, CEO of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs and Elisa Spungen Bildner for an insightful conversation about what strategies are working--and which ones aren't--in the fight against antisemitism.
Federation Knosh and Knowledge programs are held monthly and take place at Hevreh of Southern Berkshire.
Prior to her appointment with JCPA, Spitalnick worked as executive director of Integrity First for America, which won its groundbreaking lawsuit against the neo-Nazis, white supremacists and hate groups responsible for the Charlottesville violence. Under her leadership, IFA became a powerful national voice in the fight against white supremacy, antisemitism and extremism – and its Charlottesville case has emerged as a model for accountability.
